About

Hello, I'm a multi-disciplined designer and photographer living in Greater New York with my beautiful wife and two kids. During the day I work with the amazing people at Squarespace as a Product Designer and after hours can either be found around town riding my bike or brewing some mean beer in my kitchen.

You can find me all over the internet, including here: twitter, dribbble, facebook, google+, last.fm, instagram, & lomography

Terrible. Gentle. Man.

Terrible. Gentle. Man. from Dan Christofferson on Vimeo.

Dan Christofferson is back at it and has a new solo show coming up on Friday the 21st of January at the Blonde Grizzly gallery in Salt Lake City. From the looks of the stuff he's been posting online lately it's definitely gonna be a show you don't want to miss. Check the details at www.beeteeth.com and go support Dan's work.

On a side note. You may have noticed a lack of posts lately. The end of 2010 brought a new job, a fire that took everything we owned and a big move to Pennsylvania. Once things settle down I hope to post more. But for now, thanks for reading.

Selfridges Tea

I'm absolutely in love with this package design by Noreen Khan and Lewis Moberly from the UK. It's not often that you can get a client to embrace such a minimalistic layout and brand, but in this case it just wouldn't work as well any other way. Absolutely amazing work.

CHOP NO. 4

CHOP No. 4 from BEST MADE on Vimeo.

Best Made Axe Company is probably one of the best branded small businesses of recent times. To celebrate their axes, they have made a series of short films, one of which you can see above. This is only one of the many films so to see the rest be sure to check out their Vimeo page.

The Walking Dead - Opening Titles

Daniel M. Kanemoto has made a masterpiece... and noone even asked him to do so. This is what Daniel had to say about the project on his blog.

"My favorite 'exclusive' from this year’s Comic-Con was a beautiful painting by legendary artist Drew Struzan, featuring a horde of zombies from THE WALKING DEAD. Frank Darabont is adapting the apocalyptic Image Comics book created by Robert Kirkman, and man, it looks really, really great.

As I was admiring Struzan’s work of art, I wondered what the opening titles to this terrifying new television show might look like… so I animated a spec title sequence using artwork ripped from the pages of the comic, originally illustrated by Charlie Adlard and Tony Moore.

Just so there’s no confusion, I’m not affiliated with the production in any way — I’m simply a huge fan of both Frank Darabont and Robert Kirkman, and this is my attempt at creating a cinematic introduction to one of the all time great 'continuing stories of survival horror.'"

Amazing work Daniel! Let's hope that Frank Darabont sees how amazing your work is and gives you the leg up you deserve. To see more of Daniels work head over to his Vimeo channel or check out his site. If you want to see more about the series premiere on AMC and watch a trailer, head over to the AMC site.
